PUMP TECHNICIAN (FG11404)
Role Purpose:
• Performs skilled Hydraulics operation and maintenance tasks
• Diploma in related field
• Minimum of 5 years hands on maintenance experience in related field
• Ability to supervise, guide and coordinate
• Thorough knowledge of related field
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read technical drawings, and to know commis-sioning procedures
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English Key Accountabilities
• Performsskilled Hydraulics planned maintenancetasks.
• Performs Routine Hydraulics maintenance tasks.
• Performs Hydraulics troubleshooting and Repairs.
• Participates in advanced tasks under supervision.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.
• Responds to client complaints / requests.
• Attends & participates in commissioning of new Hydraulics installations.
• Leads up to four Hydraulics subordinate(s).
• Tear Down, Inspection, and assembly of pumps.
• Setting up equipment or machinery for operation and testing.
• Adjusts machines
• Clean, oil and maintain equipment
• Disassemble Components for repair
• Inspect, Measure and record data
• Assemble Components and test for proper working condition
• Must have diploma / iti along with minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
